"i wanted to be unbreakable" β€” everything before it builds to that one line.

the poem carries something heavy. are you okay?

"I wanted to be unbreakable."- The indomitable human spirit, yet how fragile it can be...

is the human spirit indomitable? or do we just pretend it is?

At the end of the day, it's all in our minds.

Our perspectives shape our decisions and the way we think.

So pretending to be indomitable for a long time might actually result in it being a trait.

you didn’t just want to build something lasting you wanted to be the one thing that doesn’t break

everyone builds something. a dream, a version of themselves, a life they believed in.

and everyone watches it crack at some point.

but the last line β€” β€œi wanted to be unbreakable” β€” that’s not the sound of something falling apart. that’s the sound of someone at least trying.
